Ropeway

Do not forget to enjoy the scenic beauty using the ropeway along the 1800 meters, ranging from Sanroku Station with a height of 300 meters above sea level to the Sancho Station with an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level. Travel time is approximately five minutes.

If the weather is sunny, the best time in the morning is when the first new ropeway opens until 10:00 am because the sparkling water surface of the famous sunshine looks very beautiful. While the daylight blue water is also no less interesting.

Opening hours: 09.30-17.00 (every 15 minutes). This is valid until December 10, 2017.

There are two types of exciting activities namely Skywalker and Zipline.

Skywalker is an activity by using a suspension bridge that swayed if skipped, cobwebs, and others above an altitude of 1,100 meters above sea level. Travel time 90 minutes, cost 2,600 Yen. Reservations can be made through the site until 15:00 on the day before arrival.

While on the Zipline, you can glide over the stretched cable (7 courses, 120 minutes, 3,800 yen fee). Reservations can be made through the official website until 15:00 on the day before arrival.

Enjoy Local Made Cuisine

After tired of trying the outdoor activities, it’s time to enjoy the various dishes that raw materials come from Shiga Prefecture.

Enjoy hoji oumi tea is fragrant and it feels that thick for 500 Yen per glass. Delicious if enjoyed in summer! There is also gelato with seven flavors provided (600 Yen double size).
